Jets | Ramsey acquired for 2006 draft pick

<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/17">Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com (http://www.kffl.com/link/9), reports the Washington Redskins (http://www.kffl.com/team/37/nfl) have traded QB Patrick Ramsey (http://www.kffl.com/player/1938/nfl) to the New York Jets (http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl) for a 2006 sixth-round pick.

Forget them taking a QB at four.. Hurts the Bills a tad as it could make a QB fall down a spot and another position go one quicker..

At any rate.. Decent deal for the Jets, I think anyway.

WOW, that means there could possibly be a dilemma at #8 for us. Leinart could definitely be there. Who knows, this draft is shaping up to be a dandy.

I think it's a great deal. You get a former 1st round pick for a 6th. Good value.

Leinart is gone at three.. But I think there is now definitely a chance Cutler could be there at 8 and a LOCK that Vince Young will be.. SHOULD Mr. Levy decide he wants to go in a new QB direction..

Def gonna be interesting.. With no other OT's really out there that we're gonna sign (I'm not gonna fantasize anymore about Runyan here) It's looking like 1 of 3 picks if we stay in the 8 spot.

1- Ngata
2- Winston Justice
3- Cutler/Young (very unlikely but def possible)

I bet you the Jets move to #1 to take Bush

As soon as I read about Ramsey, that's the first thing that went through my mind. Problem is... How confident is Houston that Brick will still be there at 4?

It'll be funny if the swap happens, and Tennesse picks up Brick. There'd be a good chance that Leinart falls to us.

I had the jets trading up to bush in the first in my first mock...

If N.O takes Mario as many are saying they will. Tenn takes Leinart and Brick goes to Houston at four, a guy I think they want anyway but are scared to take first overall.. If not they'd have to "settle" for Mario and a crapload of other picks.

If I'm the jets I do it in a second.. they're gonna suck in 06 anyway, why not build around a RB like Bush, who happens to a marqee player, in NYC on top of that..

I think you could be right..

If we take Vince young, I quit being a bills fan. That's all I'm going to say about that subject

This Changes Every Day. But Here I go:

1. Jets (trade) - Bush
2. NO (No trade) - M Williams
3. Titans - Lineheart
4. Texans (Trade) - D Furgerson
5. Green Bay - Hawk (my only lock)
6. SF - V Davis
7. OAK - Young
8. BILLS -- I say Buckley. thoughts?
