Moulds era over in Buffalo: The $2.5 million average for Bills wide receiver Josh Reed pretty well spells the end of Eric Moulds' days in Buffalo. Reed's four-year, $10 million deal is good No. 2 receiver money. Moulds has a $10 million-plus cap number and refuses to take a pay cut. The Bills have been aggressive in the offseason and will need Moulds' cap room to free up money for the draft and other signings.

He's pointing out the obvious.

Moulds will be signed for big money somewhere else. If Josh Reed can get that much and Randle El get as much as he got, Moulds should be able to cash in somewhere.

He won't make what he's currently making here. He will get decent money though.

And seriously, we didn't give Reed a whole lot. He didn't get Randle El money.

So long Moulds. Wish you all the luck as long as we don't play you and you're out of the AFCE.

I'm thinking Denver, when they lose out to Dallas for TO.

I bet Moulds gets somewhere near 3 years 15-18 million.

If he wants to become a #2 here, you're welcome to join us!the last thing he wants to do is play for Moolarkey. Moulds knows his nos. are gonna go down trying to run Moolarkeys reverses that usually goes for lots of yards going the wrong way.

Mckmike is gonna love Moolarkey.

McMichael is going to like Mularkey? He likes to throw it to his TE?

Monetarily it makes sense to get rid of the guy, and he doesn't want to be here. But honestly, think of it like this....

who's going to replace him on the depth chart? Davis? Reed? Parrish? Releasing him is inevitable, but thinking about the future beyond that is what worries me.

he won't be cut till the last possible moment, they are trying to ruin his big pay day.

John Clayton - captain obvious.

The minute he tells us something on the ball or dishes out something that actually ends up happening that nobody saw coming, I'll do circles around the Ralph but naked with face paint, like a virtual Braveheart.

I think we will hold onto Moulds until draft day and try and get something for him.

That's the only strategy that makes sense at this point.

I think we can safely say that if Moulds leaves Buffalo, he won't become a Fish

WTF? Brother we have had about 10 guys or so in during the first 7 days of fa. We signed 3 and got 1 on an offer sheet. I am sure we made offers to others but they went elsewhere.

I have a feeling monday we hear about Runyan coming in to visit sometime

There is no way to spin the facts...the Bills need quality OL and they're failing miserably to get them. Hey, I want them to win as much as the next guy, but they seem to be throwing money at the wrong people...did you see the contract Josh Reed signed? Uggh...

He certainly will not be making big money somewhere else. By the time we cut him most of the money will be dried up and he'll be making a lot less on another team than if he had taken a paycut here.

they have about $7.5-8 mil under the cap. Unless they make a deal on draft day I could see him being here for the season...why should they just ditch an asset? Why would you part with a weapon? Love him or hate him he is still the best WR on this roster.

Just like Thurman Thomas wouldn't become a Fish, eh?

there's a difference...Thurman didn't have a coach who left Buffalo for Miami he had a heated argument with near the end of his final season here.
