Moulds doesn't have much of a trade value. Carolina and Denver are both looking for another WR.
If they were interested I would give up our 2nd round pick to Denver or Carolina to move up into the 1st round and select select C Mangold.
By the time our pick comes around he would be gone and he would help our line out a lot.
If we can't get anything else we want for him this is a possibility. It's not a ton in return but it would help us land a couple needed players that won't be around when we draft in the 2nd round.
Instead of just cutting him I'd like to use him to move up somewhere in the draft where we could land somebody we really want.
If everything worked out I could handle a line like this.
LT- Gandy/Draft Pick
LG- Wells
C- Mangold
RG- Vallieral/Draft Pick
RT- Peters
If we don't get another DT in FA to go along with Tripplet then draft Ngata in the 1st.
We could maybe even trade with Arizona to get another 3rd round pick and still get Ngata at #10 and they could land Vernon Davis.
Do that with Arizona and either Denver or Carolina. Draft Ngata at #10 and then draft SS, OT and the best available player after them in the 3rd. Either that or package a couple of them to try and move up in the 2nd round if there is somebody else we want to land there.
