Per Green on NFL Network

When Eisen interviewed him about his OL , Green says that Wells is going back to ARZ.

I guess our coaches aren't slouches after all. They new Wells had something.

What a shocker that is..

I didnt even include him in my earlier rant (whine as some would say).. Waste of time... I thought u go after RFA's from teams who CANT afford to resign guys? Arizona is the Bill Gates of cap room.

And we let Neal go too huh.? we better get him , this is getting stupid now.

YES THROW THEM A 6 AND SEE IF THEY BITE!

Wait, that's already what they would get from us if they didn't match the offer sheet!

I'm gonna go bang my head against the wall until I knock myself out cold so I don't have to read idiotic comments like that ever again.

Better yet, go to the games dressed in skirts. You wouldn't be making too much of a stretch there.

Dont worry.. Soon as Ice gets hold of this he'll have a trade package involving Eric Moulds.

Neal is one of two guys we straight-up NEED to be ANY kind of competitive this year.

I bet someone is real interested in trading a box of practice tees for Eric right about now!

$100 Zonebux says... to Ice or Philster this wont be a setback, have trust in Marv and everything is on schedule.

Hopefully Denny is lying or they mess it up somehow.

It did seem awful strange they made that offer to Wells. They had to know Arizona was 90% likely to match it. Worth a shot though I guess.

We helped him get a decent contract since they have to match us, ya know.

Thats comforting.. Hopefully we can do the same for the Chicago kid next and every RFA on the market for that matter..

I believe those Green comments were from earlier this week before the Bills actually made an offer - I saw a live interview on Monday or Tuesday where the focus was on the James acquisition and I thought it interesting that Green actually mentioned Wells as a strength of the line.

I doubt they expected the Bills or anyone else to throw that kind of cash at a late round tendered RFA so it remains to be seen whether the Cards will actually match the offer.

In Mouse we trust.

ya...that interview was from earlier this week...wells had still not yet been offered a contract by the Bills. So far the Cards have not matched the Bills offer for Wells.

Who knows maybe we can stilll get him. Just because he a RFA on a team with alot of cap room doesnt mean you shouldnt make an offer. Obviosly the Bills like him and made an offer just to try to get him.

It would be a set back, however, as has already been pointed out, the cards have yet to match any offer and the clock is ticking.

Yes and when the Bills finally cut Anderson he can take up his next career as a matador. His had good practice yelling "OLAY" as the defnder he is blocking runs by him.

Cardinals | Team expected to match Wells' offer sheet
Sun, 19 Mar 2006 06:21:48 -0800

Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic, reports the Arizona Cardinals likely will match the Buffalo Bills' offer sheet to OG Reggie Wells, a restricted free agent, Cardinals vice president for football operations Rod Graves said. Cardinals officials will meet early this week to make a final determination, but Graves said he expects the club will keep Wells. "Our position all along is we wanted to keep Reggie," he said, "and I think that's probably what we'll do."

Hopefully, they change their mind.

This is all one big master plan. But hey there should be another backup out there somewhere that we can pay 2 million dollars a year for.
