Moulds situation is what JP fans should be concerned about.

If Marv decides to keep Eric at his current salary that would definately put JP's future in doubt. At this point all signs point to him being gone but if Marv was just posturing to get some cap relief, Holcomb could very well be the guy for next year.

I still believe that-

1. Moulds will be traded/cut
2. We draft a QB prospect in the 3-5th rd
3. JP is the starter next year.

Will be JP's team without Kelly behind him, and Moulds *****ing. We go 7-9 and JP gets 3000yds 56% comp 22td's and 19ints.

I can't say that you could be totally wrong here. It would be hard for me to see Marv making any wholesale changes at QB right now but you never know. Being that Ralph is so cheap, he probably won't let JP go so early after giving him that signing bonus. But, I also don't think that JP will be the starter if Moulds stays. Unless he is kind of forced to throw him the ball more, thus hurting him in the long run. I know if Moulds stays and JP starts, they will try to make a concerted effort to make him happy so he doesn't make a big deal about JP starting
