Hummmmm....

Starting to sound alot like Jake Delhome to me. Maybe even some of those other GB backups that GB didn't think were worth keeping. You know like, Hasselback, Warner, Brunell....

The difference is that those guys learned under Mike Holmgren.

If he can become #1 in the NFL, I'm all for it.

Sounds like Sherman was a great offensive coach to me and If Nall was that much of a sleeper they wouldnt used a first round pick on Aaaron Rodgers with Nall already in the system.

I'm not saying he's a bum.. But he should at least start a game before the Delhomme comparisons begin.

Every year there's a #1 rated passer in NFLE. How many of them ever amounted to anything?

If GB thought Nall was worth a damn they wouldn't have drafted Rodgers.

And there is a difference between Nall, Hasselback and Brunell was Hasselback and Brunell were highly regarded with tons of potential that people wanted and traded a pretty good draft pick for. There wasn't any market for Nall out there.

He has potential like eveyone else in the new marv-era leave it at that

You can hate on Nall all you want, but you can't help but admire the QB's developed under Holmgren/Sherman/Favre.

Brooks, Warner, Hasselbeck, Brunell, etc.

Hard to say what we've got with him until he plays.

I know Marv is getting old, but doesnt he realize it's 2006??

So what was the excuse with the guys I mentioned? They said the same thing you are saying about nall. And what about Nall being a top rated NFLE QB. Again you let your speculation get in the way of fact.

Nall's stats are from 2003 and the NFLE

Culpepper's has proven he's a top five QB in the NFL.

He had a bad year last year. If that's the case.. Keep our special teamers, McGee and Fletcher and cut the rest of the roster.

Are you serioulsy trying to make an arguement that Brad Johnson is better than Culpepper?:blowkiss:na, just saying Cpep is over rated and even though he's an improvement over Gus, I wouldn't want him here. I'd rather find our future in the draft.

I would say one bad season, but he didn't even play a complete season the way it is, and three of those games were against Chicago, Carolina, and Tampa Bay, some decent defenses.
From what we've had since Marino, I'll take these career stats:
completions:1678
attempts:2607
completion %: 64.4
YPA:7.73
Long:82
TD:135
QB rating:91.5
Rushing TDs:29
and to be fair the negative stats:

Fumbles:34, lost 13 (ouch, get that guy some stick 'um)
INTS:86

I know people hate stats, and this is a Bills fan and I won't really convince anyone that he's an "above average" QB, but for a 2nd round pick, even with a bum knee, it's an upgrade of a postion that has been holding us back for a long time.

Rob Johnson has more Super Bowl rings than Jim Kelly.. What the hell kind of statement is that?

So what that he was the #1 passer in NFLE.

The Bills had back to back NFLE rushing champions in 2002/2003. It got us all of one season out of a 3rd string RB.

It's like being the tallest ******. No one cares. All he had to do there is learn the pro game.

The Bills got the 3rd string QB of the future in this deal. Nothing more.

You're crazy. There is no comparison to be made. Culpepper is way better than Johnson. Miami gets a top 5 QB and he suddenly sucks, Buffalo signs Craig Nall and you think you've found the next Jake Delhomme. Give credit where credit is due.

Totally agree. NFLE is like the CBA is to the NBA. A few guys make the jump but not too many.
Rohan Davey was the top passer in NFLE last year. And that got him....cut by NE.

So the stats a players has, for playing in games in the NFL!!! Mean little, but how much a player signs for proves his talent level??? Good logic.

Six seasons with Moss, 1/3 of season without... kind of a misleading stat on your part. Plus Pep had the best six games of his career while Moss was injured and on the bench and Pep didn't have S.Linehan last year ether so Pep was in a whole new system, it would have taken time to adjust.

When you changed OC's you changed systems. and Let me say this....you are SCREWED with MM at the helm. It has now been proven he wasn't the genius OC in Pittsburgh.

This is NOT a knock on miami, it really isn't. MM Flat sucks and it will be a move Saban will regret very soon.

True we have a new OC, but the system is staying the same--Linehan's and Mularkey's is very similar, just different terminology. It was up to MM to get up to speed w/ our nuances.

What's Lewis proven in the NFL? Nothing other than he can run a 4.84 40 at the combine, .1 faster than Eric Winston the tackle. With that time Lewis will sink to late 2nd. Comparing him to Gates who is the best receiving TE in the league? Right.
