Marv is he a character guy?

The Eagles released quarterbacks Mike McMahon and Andy Hall on Monday, three days after signing veteran Jeff Garcia as Donavon McNabb's backup.

McMahon played in nine games and went 2-5 as a starter in the final seven games for the Eagles last year after McNabb was sidelined with a sports hernia. McMahon completed 94 of 207 passes for 1,158 yards with five touchdowns and eight interceptions in nine games.

McMahon signed a free-agent contract with the Eagles before the start of last season after four years with Detroit.

Hall was drafted in the sixth round of the 2004 draft by the Eagles but spent most of his time on the practice squad or as the team's emergency quarterback.

I think you can stop with the bum FA QB's..

We already have two... If Marv takes another QB its going to be in the draft.

I really like McMahon. He didn't have much around him in Philly.

I don't see signing him now that Nall is aboard, however.

McMahon? I'd give him a shot. I'm admittedly biased since I said I like the guy though. He's still raw and does look to run a lot, and we already have a guy like that on the depth chart.

I don't like him; for one he couldn't do anything in Detroit with all their wide receiver talent and two, he went to Rutgers...We own the Big East!!
**just messin around

Barry Sanders couldn't do anything to help detroit as well, so I wouldn't use that as an example.
