Out with old and in with older in Buffalo

Bills Coach Gregg Williams, the former Titans defensive coordinator, has taken plenty of criticism over the last two years over relative inexperience — in terms of NFL seniority — of some of his assistant coaches. He has certainly addressed that. He replaced four assistants in recent weeks. The four incoming coaches, including former Titans offensive coordinator Les Steckel, have a combined 45 years of NFL experience. The four outgoing assistants had a combined 29 years of NFL experience, but 22 of those years were from former defensive line coach John Levra. Williams and Bills General Manager Tom Donahoe also have started discussions with former Bengals Coach Dick LeBeau about coming on as a defensive consultant. (about half way down page)
