Dolphins | Team visits with R. Edwards
Tue, 21 Mar 2006 06:06:47 -0800

Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins visited with free agent DT Ron Edwards (Bills) Monday, March 20.

Maybe he can decline $8 mil from them as well......I'd like to know who told this guy that he's worth a damn.

He's learned there is no market for oft-injured DT's out there.

I think he'll take anything he can get.. Sometimes you gamble the grass is greener on the other side, and you lose.

Then again, with our offensive line. Edwards may break the NFL sack record by halftime.

I think he'll take anything he can get.. . Didn't the bills make him an offer that he refused and now "he'll take anything he can get"?

Just.. That is what I said earlier.. Sometimes you gamble and you lose is reference to him rejecting a Bills offer, meaning maybe turning down this offer (if it was truly made) didnt turn out to be such a wise ideal.

He is decent if he can stay healthy, which he never has done.

If he signs, he brings instant credibility to the Dolphins DLine.

If they sign him it'll be another laughable Dolphins free agent folly.

Well if he's tested the market, maybe his price will go down. We need some warm bodies at DT, especially some fatties. Now the staying healthy part, I guess that would be part of the gamble.
Also here's some cut and past fun:

If we sign him "BEST DT EVAH"

If we don't: "FUGGIN SCRUB!"
or
"WORST DT EVAH"
or
"ED WHO?"
