Not that we'd have any interest in him.. Because that would mean we'd be on some senseless, ridiculous route towards trying to win a few football games in 2006.. Plus, he would cost some money.... But just for the record.

is he injured at all? if not, pay him and get him here..

i know he is older.. but they said that about willie roaf.. and we would be so lucky to have him here even at his age.. he has been a rock for kc's line.

There aint a chance in france he is coming here.. and I agree with you for the record 100% percent.. I dont care if he's 47 years old right now.. I watched a lot of Dallas the past few years and I've seen NOBODY in the league, not even Hutch.. Knock Mofo's on their A$$ like Allen has.

He was a cap move, they signed that Kioser from detroit to play guard, I think

at this stage in his career, how much could he be asking for? Be worth it to bring him in for a year or two...maybe til we get someone via the draft to take over at LG

Exactly P, bring him in, secure LG and draft a guy to take over in a year or two OR take Villarial's spot next year.

If we signed him, it would change my opinion on the off-season.. Then go After Neal... And hopefully draft Huff.

They won't draft huff. We have our new Starting safety. Even with a FA Guard we still need a starting DT, Center etc.

That is true... But I wouldnt be shocked if we waited for cuts to solve the DT situation, or go after Grady... I wouldnt even be shocked is Indonje start's judging by the money were paying him....

Why was he released; Too Old or to provide Cap Space?

So no Larry Allen now in big D, so now Bledslow has no blocking, I give it til late september for TO to freak out on Drew.

The good news: Larry Allen is a first ballot hall of famer and one of the top five OL players of all time.

The bad news: he's a shell of his former self. If he gets his hands on you it's over but he can't move any more. Still a good pass blocker but just average in the run game.

We need to get younger players here with an upside. LA is pretty much done. If you want Allen, draft Max Jean Gilles in round 2. He's as good as LA now and he's over a decade younger.

Bad news i dont think you will EVER see a first ballot offensive lineman

I thought I heard he was on the decline?

I saw every Dallas game this past season (that's not an overstatement, I truly did) and Larry Allen played as fine as ever. He straight up dominated games by himself at times. If I were an owner/GM, I'd take a "risk" on him.

Even worse news for you...and I hate having to correct people but....

Anthony Munoz was a first ballot HOFer.

Larry was due a $10 million bonus that's why he was cut, so don't count out him signing back to play for Big D...

They won't draft huff. We have our new Starting safety. Even with a FA Guard we still need a starting DT, Center etc.

With Fowler in the fold and Duke Preston having played well as a rookie, I think we're in pretty good shape at center, and Preston might fit nicely at guard - if Fowler is the real deal at C.

We do need a bigtime DT, however, as well as another O lineman and a Safety (I don't think Bowen is the answer). I would use our first 3 picks on those positions, if we don't fill them in FA.
