It looks as if one of our key problems is going to be addressed after all. Who do we sign next and why? Allen? Neal? Someone else? Who should be our next priority?

Monsante Pope. Why? The dt FA pool is very thin and he is younger than hollis thomas and brenston bucker who could also garner attention. He once started on the Denver line and did a pretty good job against the run. He fits the descreption of the guy they want in next to Trips.
We need a guard. The choices- Stephen Neal, Derrick Dockery and Courtney VanBuren.
I'd be happy with either one, but seeing as how Marv prefers younger players, Neal might be excluded unless he was the only viable option left in his eyes. Dockery would cost a 3rd round pick and VanBuren is coming off an Acl injury.

Neal would be nice to have. Bringing Pope in would be a decent move too. I hope we keep filling the gaps.Comment
