I am a Moulds fan but what do u think his league worth actually is, No team in the league will pay him 11million a year. His stats have dropped consistently for the last 5 years, and he is 33. In my opinion I think the only way we can trade him if he agrees to redu his contract with whatever team trades for him, But then again knowing that we could just cut him I think alot of the interest is speculation..

Does anyone know what his cap hit would be for the team that trades for him? He may restructure to go to another team also, which could affect his trade value.

I think it depends on what his cap hit would be. I know our cap hit is 10 mil, but do signing bonuses transfer when you get traded? Maybe we could pay some of them.

I think the other team would owe him a 5 million dollar cap hit.

I think he would renegotiate for a different team. Kinda like Culpecker did in Havana north. He is pissed that Buffalo wants him to renegotiate again, and if it was a dealbreaker I bet he would do it in a minute for a new team.

I would be happy for a solid player and a midround pick for him.

If he signs an extension w/Buffalo prior to a trade (so his new team inherits the new contract), as is often the case, would that change Buffalo's dead cap hit (as opposed to trading him under his current deal)?

it will be interesting I believe on the contract front with a trade they assume all bonuses, unless the teams made it part of the deal for the Bills to pay some otherwise it is full amount pretty positive that is why I dont think a deal will get done

Doesn't a trade take care of the cap hit? :idunno:
