I really think this will be an advantage. That guy is tough to move in front of the net, without him there I think we will have a much better chance against this team.

if you didnt see it you missed a good one, he kicked the crap out of a dude from the pens, Carnes or something like that one of his former teammates.

i watched that fight,

as soon as his gloves were off he pulled his wrist guard over his knuckles like a little ***..

then complain when Charins Dropped him..

and Charins is the one the got suspended..

Chara is a straight goon. His punches are in slow motion. And PJW what are you talking about? I just seen the video of the fight and it was nothing spectacular.. chara landed three rights but cairns dropped him with a left...

And Skate...Cairns got suspended because he came off the bench to fight Chara after the period had ended :rolleyes:

Ah, and what an advantage it was, with Ottawa missing Chara! :rolleyes: If Zdeno had been in the game Friday night, it would've been even uglier than it was. Ottawa is just plain faster, and more aggressive than Buffalo is.

Sorry to disagree, JD, but Chara is anything but a goon. The guy he fought, Cairns, is the goon. Chara is one of the better defensemen in the league today. I'd give a right arm to have the same top pairing of Chara & Redden that Ottawa has. They're both great on 'D', as well as offensive defensemen. Chara's size is a huge plus, as well. The Sens will have a hard time re-signing both players this coming offseason. Open that checkbook, Darcy!

I dont think the game was "ugly". I thought we played decent for the most part. Miller let in a few softies and we got boned on the dissallowed goal. When the teams not hot, your not going to get bounces in your favor normally like you would (i.e. puck going post to post behind emery) Why does emery always play solid against us anyway, wtf :rage:
