Javon Walker ESPN Radio reports that the Eagles have offered a 3rd and Hollis Thomas for Javon Walker.

That would be great, but we won't get that much for Moulds. Big contract, age, etc. However, something remotely close would do me just fine.

3rd AND HOLLIS for Javon Walker..?

If thats the market, it will take a MIRACLE to get anything more than a 5th for Moulds.

That offer seems a bit steep, but who knows?

Regardless, I never thought we'd get better than a 5th for Moulds...

I'd say I wouldn't even care if we just CUT Moulds to gain some cap money, but I fret to imagine what we'd do with that money.

I think some of you missed the point- if GB says no, Philly still needs a WR. We can get Hollis Thomas for Moulds. I'd do that straight up, although we might be able to coax Philly into a day 2 draft pick

Hell ya, I'd take Hollis for Moulds.. at WORSE case he's REAL depth on the DL, and if he's still a starter in Jauron's eyes (he's the coach Im sick of everyone saying MARV) then maybe we can do something different with the 8th pick.

ewww nevermind.. I just seen his numbers, he hasnt had a sack or a forced fumble in FOUR seasons. He MUST be a hell of a run-clogger because his numbers make Tim Anderson look like Marcus STroud.

Plus, he's 32 years old, which makes him ancient on our roster.

it would be a temporary solution. He's still better than anyone on our roster, except maybe Triplett.

id rather get a third rounder, if we can get lucky enough to get that.. The more teams interested, the better the Bills chance to get more for him.

thomas is a run stuffer.. he is a fat ass that clogs the line.. his numbers have never been flashy, but he is still a respected player. i would take him for moulds.

Id give up Moulds and one of our 3rds for Walker.

If walker is back from the ACL, Rosendork will work us a realistic contract then yeah, Moulds and a 4th or so for a younger walker.

That might be a good deal for both sides. The way they can fix knees now I wouldn't worry about the acl too much. McGahee had a far worse injury. This is a deal right up TD's alley but I'm not sure it's up Marv's. But I'd make it because Walker was a top 10 receiver before the injury. You'd potentially have a fearsome receiving corp with Walker- Evans- Parrish.

Id give Moulds and a third for Walker.. Evans needs help to prevent half the secondary from covering him and Josh Reed and Andre Davis aint it.

ANd your right, Javon was EASILY a top 10 receiver before the injury. That trio would be on par with Moulds/Price of 2002.

The phrase "before the injury" makes a world of difference. Can he even walk yet???

Plus, Favre makes a lot of people look good. But when they leave Green Bay they return to nobodies. Corey Bradford, Antonio Freeman, Bill Schroeder are good examples.

To be fair, Freeman was like 70 when he left.

I would do the Moulds for Walker cause Walker would have to pass a physical anyways before it would be completed so we would know how the knee is and hell didn't Steve Smith do the same thing to his knee

steve smith broke his leg.. he never hurt his knee.

Exactly... this is a no-brainer to me. You get something in return for a guy you would otherwise cut, and you fill a void on our D-line for a t least a year. That puts in a GREAT position come draft day - trade down, get extra day 1 picks, and address the one glaring need we have in our starting lineup - Left Tackle. I hope to God this trade happens.

Also - Please, no more Walker talk. This guy is so far from a Levy guy its disgusting. There is no way he's coming here.
