Possible Bills/Bears trade rumor

There's a report going around Chicago, and it's also all over their message board, that the Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bils are considering a trade that would send Eric Moulds to the Bears in exchange for.. yep.. Isreal Idonijie.

I'm not reading too much into this yet, but I did just email Jason Klabacha from Bearsreport.com (scout.com) network to find out the credibility of this rumor.

I'll share what he says when he gets back to me.

Interesting! Moulds and Mussim on the outside for Chicago could be dangerous. They just need someone to throw the ball.....

Would they really sign IJ just to trade him? Guess we will see.....

IM trying to find out more right now.. Maybe they matched this offer with this in mind, as they would have gotten no compensation had Idonijie not been matched..

One thing is for sure: Chicago needs a WR and Buffalo obviously likes Idonijie.. At least hypothetically it makes great sense. Im hoping the Chicago guy from scout gets back to me soon

I kinda figured the Cards did the same with Reggie Wells... Maybe hoping the Bills would offer a 3rd instaed of the 6th they'd get for compensatin.

Actually, whoever started a thread on one of these message boards in Chicago said something about adding Michael Haynes to the deal. I've only heard about Idonijie.. I am trying HARD to find out what the hell is going on in Chicago right now.

That's a thread going in Chicago right now.. Keep in mind those are only fans talking.. I do NOT know if Michael Haynes name has come up anywhere, I only know of Idonijie and I'm trying to find out more.

If they thought highly enough to sign Idonjie I'd assume that would be a trade Buffalo wants.. ANd the more I am hearing about the him the more I'm liking him.

I would rather have IJ than a 6th round pick. which i been hearing people would be happy with for Moulds.

I doubted it. If Chicago was thinking about it, they would not match the offer so quick because now they have to eat Idonijie's signing bonus.

Moulds is way too old. I'd take an up and comer to get him off the books. Seems like a solid deal.

I still have no idea who this Israel Idonijie is. But this nobody up and comer for Moulds? I agree with ICE, throw in a middle round draft pick and we'll talk.

On the other hand, I do like Chicago as a trading partner though. I'd rather eat the cap hit and keep Moulds than trading him to New England.

In the short run he's a great pickup, but expecting a 3rd round pick? Dream on.

Um, we'll be lucky to get anything for him. We have absolutely no bargaining power.
