I've seen more clutching and grabbing, hooking and penalty's not being called they said they were going to be cutting down on this. So much for the new NHL!

yes...part of the sabres current problem is that they are not getting the penalty calls at just the right time...not sure as to just as many or not but previously there was always a call that seem to help keep or swing momentum the sabres way...i don't see that now.

I voted "yes", as well. I wonder if it is coincidence, but ever since Boynton cried about the Sabres, they seem to get few calls their way now. But it's not just them. Watching the other games on Centre Ice, and especially the Sharks games with my wife, it's clear to see the inconsistency of old days is slowly creeping back into the NHL.

I hope not....not good for the Sabres if they do.

Could the 'new' NHL just be a pre-meditated ruse by the league to sell tickets during the regular season, with a conscious intent to revert to the old 'rules' to appease the purists come playoff time?

It seems they are slowly. They better not pull this crap in the playoffs!
