Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports free agent DT Grady Jackson (Packers) visited the Atlanta Falcons Friday, March 24, but his agent, Angelo Wright, said he left without a deal. "It was a good visit and a good fit," Wright said. "But there are some other opportunities, too. There are four situations that are active."

I cant see how we'd be one of the four for two reasons..

1) He would go TOTALLY against what marv is doing with Free Agency.

2) You see who his agent is? that's Adams' agent. I highly doubt he wants his client in BUffalo after the Adams ordeal.

Thought he would but a good 2nd tier guy for us.....

If we werent gonna offer Fabini, Mawae and some of the other big named vets big money, I seriously doubt we'll give Jackson the money.

Heard nothing about Pope since he was here. I have heard rumblings of a Moulds for Idonjie trade, but haven yet found out how credible that is...

I'd love to upgrade over kelsay but I think we're stuck there for another year. DE will be a HIGH priority next year when Kelsay is a FA.

It would still be a major upgrade.. And we wouldnt have to take a DT first round, this year.

I've said it time and time again, jackson does not fit the scheme. Same reason sam adams was cut.
I'd be happy if pope signed. He's a decent dt.

If we passed on the Fabinis, Mawaes and Hopkins' because of age, i will be extremely pissed if we were to sign Grady Jackson at this point.. That would really show we dont know what the hell we are doing.

Plus, its not going to happen anyway. If marv wouldnt overpay for quality OL help, no way he overpays for Grady Jackson, represented by that terd Angelo Wright on top of that.
