Jets | Tannenbaum not receiving good reviews
Sat, 25 Mar 2006 08:43:18 -0800
<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/130">Randy Lange, of the Bergen Record (http://www.kffl.com/link/131), reports New York Jets (http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl) general manager Mike Tannenbaum is not receiving the best of reviews after his first seven weeks as general manager. One players' agent said, "Mike's getting greedy," while another agent added, "Everybody tells me the Jets (http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl) are very hard to deal with and it hasn't changed." An Atlanta source said a member of the Atlanta Falcons (http://www.kffl.com/team/7/nfl) hierarchy labeled the Jets (http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl) bringing the Seattle Seahawks (http://www.kffl.com/team/33/nfl) into a trade as "a little amateurish" and said, "We've never seen a team behave like this."

Even I cant accuse Marv of this.

agents get pretty worked up this time of year. a lot of agents are supposedly mad at the phins for bringing their clients in early in FA and not making offers. i'm guessing this may have something to do with mawae/adams? it's too soon to tell how amateurish anyone is yet. the agent for abraham, if that's who made the accusation, was probably pissed that he would have to negotiate 2 contracts to get 1 deal done. that's why they get paid the big bucks, i say...

I thought the third party was Denver, not Seattle...

I thought they were doing well myself, but maybe the way players are being moved out sorta left some plyers unhappy (Kevin Mawe) is the reason for some of the reports. As far as I understand it he's bitter over the breakup.
