Color-blind Raiders put NFL to shame

AS RELOCATIONS and lawsuits and other controversies kept his name in headlines for the wrong reasons, Al Davis was making a statement on a subject the NFL, much to its detriment, chose to ignore.

And now the league finds itself paying a stiff price for the decades of antipathy and apathy.

The price? Sitting across the table from Johnnie Cochran.
