I was just thinking something....don't feel like doing the research now...maybe later...but how long has each olineman been on the team over the last 6-7 years?
Brown was here the longest (9 or something). Then you have MW, Teague and Jennings with 4 years....all TERRIBLE years.
I guess my point is that we have not had steady rocks on the line in 6-7 years (excluding Brown). Most of the rest have only been on the team for a year or two and then get cut.
When you look at the other SUCCESSFUL lines, they have been together for many years (for the most part, with a change here and there). We can't afford to waste more years on trying to make chicken salad from chicken s**t. We need guys who are talented enough so that we can keep them together for more than a couple of crap seasons.
Here's to hoping we get some miracle this year.
