Just the fact that Eric Moulds is going to obviously make less than $7 million and to the VERY WORST team in the NFL record-wise, rather than take a paycut and probably STILL make more than he'll make in Houston.

To me, speaks VOLUMES about what a MESS this football team has become.. If it was a team like Philly, Den or NE I could see.. but Houston.. Wow, this team is even worse off than I thought..

Dude im sorry bro.

But this is no reason to celebrate.. Im disgusted at the fact that Moulds would RATHER go to Houston for probably LESS Money than a paycut would've brought him here in Buffalo.. Makes me think this franchise is in worse shape than any of us realize..

I cant WAIT to see how much money he is going to make.. If its less than $5 million per year, he must absolutely DESPISE the Buffalo Bills because I'm sure he cut 2-3 mill he'd be a Buffalo Bill.. OBVIOUSLY Marv wanted to try and keep him hence why this is been going on for so long.

eric moulds has 81 catches in 15 games last year with a couple of bums throwing to him and the worse offensive line in football.. Every receiever on our team COMBINED outside of Evans didnt have 81 catches.

I"m pretty sure he'll upgrade more than just the weather he plays in...

Look in no way should you be sorry but you also shouldnt be so concerned with what man who apparently wants money as opposed to loyalty thinks of our franchise. The franchise is what you make of it. Its not a wreck, its alittle confused but I hope that by May 1 we will all see that Marv has begun to right the ship and his plans will be more clear. Im still skeptical, but as of yet I like most of the moves we have made.

We just lost the second best WR in team history, who had a HORRIBLE year and STILL had 81 catches.. We have Josh Reed, yes THAT Josh Reed and Andre Davis to take his "spot"

and people are high fiving and celebrating because we'll get a fourth round draft pick from it?

and not even to a contender. .He hates this franchise THAT much to go to the worst team in the league?? I bet you the money he gets from Houston is at BEST EQUAL what a paycut would have paid him there.. He just flat out hates the Bills after 10 years.

There is one huge positive for Eric Moulds wanting to go to the Houston Texans....it's by his hometown, where all his family is. They can now go to all his homegames and thats something that hasnt happened in a while.

The Texans are definitely NOT going to be in last place this year. They've made some positive moves in the offseason, gotten some good coaches, and will have a possibly fantastic RB in Bush, or a fantastic lineman in Brick to block for Carr. If the line plays even slightly better (can they play worse?) they will already be a better team. And with Moulds as a receiver, they will have added some offensive firepower.

They may come close to making the playoffs and will certainly do better than Buffalo will this year!

and we will need some to get back.

We are a ways away please know that....enjoy the ride bro.

You are going to run these new guys out of town before they unpack.
Just because they are not the moves you would have made doesnt mean they arent the right ones.

You complain we havent spent money when you yourself said we need a bunch next year to sign are own guys....
???

I wanted sherman...and Josh mcnown...and ronald curry and chris brown......... I am a printer by trade. I wanted them to keep Mike williams.......Oh well life goes on.

That very well could be the dumbest statement that I have EVER heard in my entire life!

If, Marv Levy WANTED to trade Eric Moulds, he would have tried to TRADE him BEFORE all these other receivers hit the open market.. ONce all these WR's signed with other teams his value went DOWN, not UP.. If marv thought MOulds was gone the day he came to the team, as you so say.. He would have dealt MOULDS BEFORE FA started and gotten more VALUE! HIs value went DOWN after Dallas, Carolina, SF, Tenn and others filled up on receievers, NOT up..

Marv Levy WANTED Moulds to stay.. he hoped that something could be worked out compensation wise.. What did he "low ball" Moulds so he could end up with a fourth-round draft pick (at best) in the end??

Yanno, Maybe I a whiner.. But you seriously are a 100% mental football midget.. I sure as hell hope you are somewhat smarter in non-football life.

That was 100% pure and utter stupidity.. I feel dumber for having read it.

It's all about supply and demand. How do you figure that Marv should have moved Moulds before FA started when there was going to be a number of WR's entering the market? By waiting, Moulds was pretty much the only option for teams looking to add a veteran WR that still has some gas in the tank. I don't agree with a lot of what the Bills have done this off season, but Marv made the right move in this situation. It will be interesting to see if this goes through and what compensation Buffalo gets as a result.

Now while I agree to disagree, that's a very smart statement and in some ways, very true..

However, question.. Did marv "low ball" moulds? do you think that MOulds has been gone the day Marv came into town?

HOw ludricous.. IMO.. Marv tried everything possible to keep a WR who's averaged 70+ catches and 1,065 yards over the last nine years.

We won't know if Marv low-balled Eric or not, unless one side discloses what was offered and refused.

I find it curious that Moulds' agent hasn't made some numbers public, if the offer was so ridiculous.

If Moulds would have agreed to take the pay cut, he'd still be a Bill. From Marv's stand point, he saw an older WR who was going to make a butt load of money this year on a team that is a ways off from contending for the playoffs. And from Moulds stand point, he wasn't about to stay with a team that is obviously rebuilding yet again, and have his pay slashed at the same time. Maybe Moulds figures that if he's going to play for a crappy team, he mind as well do it closer to where his family is. I really don't blame Moulds for not wanting to be part of another rebuilding project in Buffalo.

eric moulds has 81 catches in 15 games last year with a couple of bums throwing to him and the worse offensive line in football.. Every receiever on our team COMBINED outside of Evans didnt have 81 catches.

I"m pretty sure he'll upgrade more than just the weather he plays in...

that is SUCH a wys statement.. what a joke..

"every receiver, except for our other really good one, didnt have 81 catches.. "

how many other teams in the nfl have a 3rd, 4th, and 5th wr that combined for 81 catches..

your posts are so ridiculous.. i really do think your wys.. all the crying.. bashing of the organization, never ending posts, repeating the same thing over and over and over and over and over, making sure to start 15 new threads a day.

There is one huge positive for Eric Moulds wanting to go to the Houston Texans....it's by his hometown, where all his family is. They can now go to all his homegames and thats something that hasnt happened in a while.

450 miles isnt "by" his hometown..

anymore than florida is "by" virginia.

Pat, please attack the post and NOT the poster. You can criticize what he is saying, but don't go calling him names.

Thanks.

Offseason playoff contenders eh.

My guess is they'll continue to be crap just as they have throughout their existence.
Agreed Lord BAMino.

Way to answer a FOOTBALL question in typical Ice-fashion.. Not smart enough to address a STUPID statement you made .. This is the way to go, eh. Hmmm rep is SOOOOOO credible isn't it..

Flanagan.. MOulds.. Anthony Weaver.. Mike Flanagan..Kalu.
Reggie Bush. 1st in 2nd round.. 1st and 2nd in the third round.
New coach in Kubiak..

Yep, I see no reason why they will be any better a football team then they were in 2005.

i told you.. you just repeat yourself over and over like a broken record.. you do it so much, you repeated yourself in the SAME POST..

but it sure makes your point look much better to list flanagan twice i guess.. rofl.

flanagan is way better than fowler right? you dont know.. moulds? is espn announcing it is a done deal? your assuming.. anthony weaver? is he much better than the tripplett signing? kalu?? wow.. they signed a guy who has never done anything to a league minimum one year deal.. he is hurt more than ron edwards.

new coach.. kubiak? yeah.. hall of fame coach right? the grass is always greener.

1st picks... why? because they blow..

guess who their qb is? carr is all the sudden going to be good? so they added flanagan.. ok.. so they only need 4 more lineman now..

give me a break... your pulling at straws.. committed to winning in 06..

go root for houston.

Mike flanagan is a 10-year vet, so he gets to be listed twice..

Tatonka
03-29-2006, 08:41 PM
so since he is a 10 year vet, they still need 5 offensive lineman.. because he will get hurt and be ready to retire any day now.

i figured you wouldnt address the other points i made about you though.

"if you take evans out of the equation, our wrs didnt have 81 catches.. "

"houston is making a run in 2006!!"

your posts are a joke bro.. your articles suck, and your posts are even worse.. i am ebarassed that you are a bills fan...

OBVIOUSLY Marv wanted to try and keep him hence why this is been going on for so long.My guess is, he didn't want to play for Ralphy after he suspended him and sided with Moolarkey who hasn't shown an ounce of loyalty like Moulds did through the years. If Ralphy didn't suspend him, I think he would've stayed.

LMAO @ anyone that thought marv was trying to keep moulds at all. He did it how he had to. appear to the fanbase that he wanted to keep him, that he tried to keep him blah blah blah.

Marv lowballed the crap outta him. He knew moulds wouldn't go for it. Hell he got moulds guys so pissed off they pulled thier BS in the press.

Eric was gone the day Marv came on board.do you have facts that prove otherwise or are you listening to your source again?
