Former NFL player Alonzo Spellman was sentenced to 18 months in prison Monday for threatening passengers and crew on a Delta Air Lines flight last year.
U.S. District Court Judge Stewart Dalzell also ordered Spellman, a former lineman, to spend three months in a rehabilitation center after his release from jail. He must also undergo psychological counseling and will be barred from flying without prior approval.
