Bettman needs to lock out players next year

Bettman needs to lock out the players a year earlier. The league cannot withstand another year like this year. There may be no other way for Ottawa and Buffalo to survive.
Then next year more teams will follow with massive losses. He needs to get the attention of the players and break that stupid union they have. Waiting another year will be devastating for the game. I know the CBA runs for 1 more year. Matters not. This is a state of emergency for the league and it must be dealt with.

Bettman should have addressed the problem long before it got to this point anyway. The NHL CBA is a complete farce it should never have been agreed to the way it is...if the players didn't like it screw them and bring in a bunch of scrubs until they come to their senses (no retroactive pay either). This crap is why we couldn't get Pecca to play...that proably was the best team the Sabres have had in decades with Pecca on the ice. It pissed off Hasek to the extent he insisted on walking as well. This whole thing just makes me want to puke.
