Moulds is supposed to be in Houston getting the physical and signing the deal. It's all moot if compensation can't be reached. I think they pony up thier 4th rounder.

how come picks 31-33 go down by 10 pts then 34 goes down 20 then 35 goes back down 10

the logical progression would be

31 600
32 580
33 570
34 560

by my quick perusal it looks like thats the only place on the whole chart it does that

i could see that happening maybe round 4 after everybody has a whole night to think about who they missed, but not between rounds 1 and 2

but where it is it makes no sense and is seemingly unnecessary

Here is what I would like to see....We get thier 5th and we swap picks in the 3rd. Texans have picks 1-2 we have 6-9 I believe?

We take their 5th, and swap #9 for #2 in the 3rd round. I could live with that.

Bills want Texans' 4th because it is the first pick of the second day. Very valuable pick IMO, a lot more value due to it being first pick of the day and Bills can do a lot of prepick planning.

Not a bad idea. Especially if Mcneil keeps sliding on the draft boards he could slip into early 2nd round. Ngata/Bunkley and Mcneil would be an incredible draft.

So instead of picking up one pick and moving up in one or two other spots, you want to settle for one pick?

Plus, statistically- you increase your chances of getting a "pro bowler" by getting more bodies in the top 100 than moving up 8 spaces outside of the first round
