Marv trades up to the 2nd spot and drafts Matt Leinart.
If Marv doesn't trade up Marv drafts Cutler or Young at #8.
I wish Marv would wait a year and draft Brady Quinn.

I think the Bills brass really likes him, and if Marv feels his character issues are behind him, then I believe it.

I am going out on a limb and going to say Chad Greenway LB from Iowa after we trade out of the top 10. D'Brick, Williams, Hawk, Huff, Ngata, Bunkley, Davis, Justice, all three QB's, are all gone, but Marv gets a bunch of picks (this year and next.)
I figure everyone is going to put one of the guys from above so i had to change it up, a lot. And yes i know people will freak out.

Ngata.
They are throwing smokescreens about not fitting their system. To big, agile, and athletic to pass. Marv knows better { I think. He gets the benefit until proven wrong}, this isn't Donadumb drafting.

Justice. If this works out, the question is whether or not he can transition to left side. Only the Bills would give us this type of immediate saga to deal with after drafting a top 10 pick.

I'll go really against the grain here....To replace Eric Moulds, the Bills select....Santonio Holmes WR Ohio St.

That pick would make me :ill: :puke:
He is a really good receiver and would be a good replacement for Moulds IMO
That being said, we need other positions MORE than WR, so I'd feel as if we sort of wasted the pick and wouldn't be happy about it.
Like I said though, I was just going against the grain of everyone else and picking someone different.

I'm going against conventional wisdom just because I can't remember the last time the Bills actually took someone I'd hoped they would, when the player was available and it was our turn to pick.
Mark me down with Night Train...trade down and take CB Jimmy Williams, Virginia Tech, and switch him back to the safety position.

Well, I was going to wait until we were closer, but with the injury to Everett and the obvious move toward speedy receivers, I'm going to guess Vernon Davis to enhance and add to a speedy inside man to catch underneath and get yardage afterward from LBs who won't be able to keep up with him! The funny thing is that Vernon is so fast, that some CBs won't be able to keep up with him. It also means that they may have to assign a Safety spy to him which means no double teaming our speedy WRs. Should give defenses fits to try and handle!!!

I gotta think we trade down and take Winston Justice. #8 is a weird spot in this draft. I am not sure there will be alot of value at 8 at this point. But the top half of the draft every year is a wild day!
Thanks for the reminder to hop on this contest Philster! I've been away for a week and almost forgot to get my vote in!

I'm going to have to go with Vince Young because I think of the 3Qbs at the top he might just fall to us.
I know we have needs everywhere...but this position has to be solved immediately and bringing on so many options will head towards that goal and also open up some leverage for future trades.
