This Tackle most likley..Bills second rounder...

NFL | Colledge does some work at Pro Day
    Sun, 2 Apr 2006 15:45:58 -0700
Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Boise State OL Daryn Colledge measured a 35 1/2-inch vertical jump and completed 22 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. He weight in at 302 pounds and stood on the rest of his numbers from the NFL Combine.Didn't do as good as Justice in the prostitute pick up drills but definitly help his draft status.

I think he would be a good pick in the third round just based on what I have read about him, but I have never seen him play.

no one has seen him play, he went to Boise State. I'd like to see us grab him in the 3rd-4th. would also like to see him do more than 22 reps on the bench press.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

I saw him a couple of times last year. I wasn't overly impressed either. When they played Georgia and BC he surely didn't dominate. He may have against the utah st.'s, Nevada's, and San jose's but they had better not use their 2nd on him. And 22 reps ????, That sucks for a 300lb lineman.

22 reps is my problem, and its what the pre-combine and pro-day scouting reports indicated as a weakness: strength. Reggie Bush knocked out 28 this weekend, and he's a smallish RB.

If he's go the right frame, I'm sure he can add some muscle, i just would rather have the 2nd rounder be less of a developmental type. I'm OK with him in the 3rd.

Obviously he has strength issues. I've also heard he has short arms. Sometimes you can excuse tackles with very long arms from doing well on the bench, because the longer one's arms the tougher it is to do a bench press. If his arms are short, he's got no excuse. That's two strikes against him. If he's got character issues too, that's too many red flags for me.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Most likely he won't be our second round pick

Stay away from this kid, he is one of those extremely athletic tackles who lack strength and mass. We need a big road grader type like Andrew Whitworth to come in and knock somebody on their ass, Colledge is not that type of a player. We dont use alot of pulling the tackles so he's not a good pick imo.

I don't think we need a road grader at LT. Guard yes, but not max Jean Gilles (sp) That guy has fat lazy bastard written all over him!

Not that strength isn't important for an offensive tackle, but there are many very good tackles in the 315 pound and less category (Walter Jones, Levi Jones, Jordan Gross, Matt Light, Matt Lepsis, Khalif Barnes, Kevin Schaeffer, Roman Oben, John Tait, etc.) that start and are highly effective - particularly at left tackle.

I just can't help but think that the smaller more athletic tackles can better handle to speed of some of today's top pass rushers - smaller guys like Freeney, Abraham, Schobel, Rice, Taylor, etc.).

I think the real bulk should be reserved for the interior offensive lineman since they don't need to work in space, but rather deal with the big nasty defensive tackles.
