.........................................

Erik Flowers. 1 sack.

Obviously Anderson is not an NFL caliber DT.

Yes, Flowers is a DE, so I know it's not a completely fair comparison.

But he didn't play much, and we all know what kind of player he is.

You would think someone who played as much as Anderson would fall into at least 3 sacks.

What a waste of space.

Why have we not signed another tier two DT?

There are guys out there....and we have cap room.

Yes, we'll draft one....but we need more than one.

well the Erik Flowers comparison is out of left field, but I completely agree that we need another DT and relying on the draft is too risky.

I don't think Anderson played full time as a starter all year either so what is the difference?

DT's last season were meant just to take up space, right? I'm suprised to see that he had one sack.

Well, Eric Flowers is perhaps the biggest bust in Bills history.

He is a joke of an NFL player.

The fact that he matched Anderson's sack total is kind of telling in a sick and twisted sort of way.

#1 He sucks.
#2 He saw very limited action.

Anderson saw quite a bit of action last year. He was our primary under tackle after Edwards was hurt. He had plenty of opportunities to make plays, but chose to stink it up.

So the conclusion can be drawn that Anderson is just as horrible a player as Flowers, and that is saying a mouthful.

I don't know who was evaluating young D-line talent for us during the past 5 years, but whoever it was, I hope they no longer hold a place on the current staff.

Look at this list of underacheivers......Kelsay, Denney, Bannan, Anderson, Sape, Office, Irons....I know there are others.

Deplorable.

Anyone actually remember Anderson the last month of the season ? He played well.
Against the Pats , he had 7 tackles, 2 pass knockdowns and ran right over Steven Neal to throw Dillon down for a 4 yard loss. Increased playing time produced some good results.
A day 1 pick and Triplett will be the top 2 DT's in the rotation but Anderson will be a solid #3 guy. That's why bums like Edwards and Bannon were allowed to walk.

We now return to our scheduled moronic post.
