Lebeau Sitting Down with Buffalo
By Chris Brown - Tuesday, February 4, 2003

Buffalo, NY (WGR 55) - WGR Sportsradio 55 has confirmed that former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Dick Lebeau is finally meeting with the Buffalo Bills today to discuss a possible position as a defensive assistant.

The meeting is expected to take place chiefly with head coach Gregg Williams and Jerry Gray, presumably to insure there’s proper compatibility between the defensive minds. The team is expected to comment on the results of the meeting Wednesday

Bills Sign Two More
The Bills today announced that the team has signed two free agents DE Andrew Bowers and DB Kenneth Harris. Bowers (6-5, 297), a two-year starter out of Utah, originally signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent (2001). He opened the season on the practice squad for the first five games, was signed to the 53- man roster and was inserted into the starting lineup for his first pro appearance versus Philadelphia (Nov. 4). He spent the 2002 season on the injured reserve list before being released mid-season. Harris, a 5-11, 205-pound defensive back out of Northern Iowa University, is originally from Buffalo and a graduate of St. Joseph Collegiate Institute, where he played both running back and defensive back. He originally signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent (2002) and was released at the conclusion of training camp.
