Browns | No scrimmage with Buffalo again this year

Tony Grossi, of the Plain Dealer, reports the annual Cleveland Browns scrimmage with the Buffalo Bills, which was scrapped last year by Browns' head coach Romeo Crennel, will not resume. Crennel said he would be open to listening to offers, but so far has no plans to scrimmage another team in training camp.

this kinda sucks- when it comes to football, Buffalo is kind of Cleveland's sister city. They're both small-market teams in struggling rust-belt economies with cold weather and die-hard rabid fans. It's excellent marketing and it helps create a rivalry for the relatively few times the teams play.

I hope they do an early scrimmage with someone. Last year, their scrimmage w/ GB was televised on NFL Network before the other preseason games- it was actually the first NEW NFL football of the season.
