All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Only 1 of San Fran's QBs was a 1st rounder..so that means the other guys really don't make that much relatively.
2 1st rd picks spent in 2 years on QBs? I just don't see them carrying them both. JMO
And what have the 49ers done recently to make you think this works? Bottom line is it would just be rediculous to trade JP or draft a QB in the first round and have him battle JP.
If we draft a QB that then Losmen is the one to go ehh?
What about Nall, Lossmen, Cutler/young?
Look at 49ers they got 3/4 young prospects....
just a thought.
Holcomb has experience.
They wouldn't sign Nall just to draft a QB and cut him before he ever sees the field.
I suppose anything's possible, but it just seems highly unlikely that they would go with Losman AND a rookie (however if Nall sucks in preseason/camp I could see him being cut before the final roster).
I am just saying that the two are not mutually exclusive.
Not what I would do but could fall under BPA strategy.
Might make them all better...trade one later,
Nall is ready to start or back up.
I think it would also be good for one to emerge from those 3.
They may all very well suck at first but one will rise to the top of that heap...and claim ther birthright.
We put the issue to rest then for 5 or 10 years.
We do have 10 freakin picks we really need 1 OLT....1-2 DT 1 OG
We found J Peter UDFA for crying out loud...he is doing great.
I am not saying those should not be the highest priority......but we do need some playmakers on offense....QB' TE WR.....would it not help a qb and an OLinemen to have V Davis get open in 2.6 seconds?....Would in not help a linemen...if a QB with a quick release and field vision delivered a bullet in the right place to the right guy?...All I am saying is we have alot of picks in a deep draft and we should keep an open mind.
