Jason Elam agreed to a five-year contract that will keep the best kicker in Denver Broncos' history with the team for five more years.
The Broncos scheduled a news conference with Elam on Tuesday. Financial terms were not immediately released.
"I would say it's certainly a very sound contract and it reflects his performance and production," agent Jack Reale said.
The 32-year-old Elam, a three-time Pro Bowl player, was set to become a free agent March 1.
