Bills Add Two More To Roster

Brian Urlacher and Ray Lewis..........Just Kidding!

The Bills today announced that the team has signed two free agents DE Andrew Bowers and DB Kenneth Harris. In accordance with club policy, terms were not disclosed.

Bowers (6-5, 297), a two-year starter out of Utah, originally signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent (2001). He opened the season on the practice squad for the first five games, was signed to the 53- man roster and was inserted into the starting lineup for his first pro appearance versus Philadelphia (Nov. 4). He spent the 2002 season on the injured reserve list before being released mid-season.

Harris, a 5-11, 205-pound defensive back out of Northern Iowa University, is originally from Buffalo and a graduate of St. Joseph Collegiate Institute, where he played both running back and defensive back. He originally signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent (2002) and was released at the conclusion of training camp.

In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.
"If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day, but if you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life"

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws,
to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient
    when the world ignores him,
and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. -- Honore De Balzac

      Visually stunning but camera-shy.

If nothing else, Bowers brings some size.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I did a little looking and found this link on Bowers coming out of college. He's gained some weight since his college days. He was known as a workout warrior. He has excellent speed, but wasn't that instinctive a player. Nor was he a sound tackler. Sometimes guys like that eventually bloom. Sometimes they're duds for life. Interestingly, he shares the same religious beliefs with another Bills defensive lineman, Ryan Denny. Not a good omen.
