Trade Moulds + #8 pick for Texan's #1

    Trade Moulds + #8 pick for Texan's #1

    Trade Moulds and Buffalo's #8 pick for Houston's #1. Moulds is probably worth a 7 spot swing. Heck, give Houston a 5th rounder on top of it.

    Two potential reasons.

    If there is actual truth in the statement that Marv doesn't like Losman and is considering drafting a new QB, go for it. There are three very different prospects in this draft. Marv, pick the one you feel best fits with the new philosophy.

    If Marv doesn't feel he needs to draft another QB, for any of a number of reasons, then draft Brick, or whomever you want to draft. That would be the beauty of the #1 pick. You can pick whomever you feel would best help your club.

    Why not? Cost-wise, the #1 and the #8 are both going to be expensive.

    Complicate it a bit more, if you wish. Turn that new #1 into a bunch of lower pics.

    Point is, Buffalo has something that Houston wants. They're bickering over 4th and 5th round picks. Why not just swap 1st rounders with some balancing compensation tossed in?
    Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

      Moulds is basically a 4th rounder + our #8 doesnt even come close on that chart thing to being equal to the #1 pick

          Hey in dreamland this is excellent. We could draft Reggie Bush and then trade away Willis for draft picks and pick up more day 1 picks. NONE of this will happen however. But thanks for such an optimistic viewpoint :)

              maybe in round 2 they would swap picks but not round 1

                This isn't Madden, Houston would be completely insane if they did that. They can pick up Moulds for a 4th or 5th rounder and still get Reggie Bush. Add that to the fact that they have two 3rds.

                    Can I have whatever you're on please? You think Moulds is worth that much?

                    It would take our #8 with multiple picks this year and a 1st or 2nd next year if we made a trade with the Texans without Moulds in the deal. You really think Moulds is worth that?

                    Some of the homerism around here is intolerable. I can't even believe my eyes some days.
