View Full Version : My personal favorite memory of Moulds...

BAM

... was when he absolutely destroyed Teddi Bruschi in a game a couple years ago blocking for McGahee. It's not a big flashy play or anything, but just seeing someone totally demolish a man of such stature is a sight to behold. Go ahead Eric, you da man. Good luck in Houston!

I made a short clip of the above-mentioned play.

agreed..short of Evans, who do we have who is a bona-fide starter? Someone's who's gonna be good enough that Evans won't be shut down

His departure will sting for awhile, and I hate to see him go, but he didn't want to stay.

My favorite Moulds memory was in the playoff game against Miami that we lost.. I believe Moulds playoff yardage record still stands. i was there! What was so funny about that game was miami tied us in every category to decide where teh game was played.. I think that was also Reed's last game. He was ejected of course for a phantom bump on the ref... Man i love that game... THANKS for all the good times and the record. That record gave me happiness during all the games we sucked....

Wooo! I think that is one hit that didn't get on Bruschi's "hit" tally.

His leaving will leave a void.

But if Marv and crew feel this team is not ready for the playoffs this year it is also the right move.

mine was when he decided to spit on people during games!!

nah actually I've always liked the guy and he was almost always my favorite bill, so it's hard to pin-point which it is. i have disliked him a bit this year for his attitude, but he will be missed a lot, needless to say

We will miss your 10 yards a catch and 800 yards. That can never be replaced in this day of age.

He asked to leave. He quit on his team during the season and the team and fans in the offseason. You guys act like he's the pope.

My fondest Moulds memory in a game was a 1998 game against the saints in the Superdome, where he caught a 66 yarder from Johnson and just turned on the Jets to the end zone.

Meeting him was fun too.
