If for some God forbidden reason the Bills were to move,how soon do you think we can get a new team? If Cleveland can lose their franchise and get a new one,we can too!!!

Look at the history of the Browns and the Bills. The Cleveland Browns franchise hasn't done anything significant in their existence. Ok,ok! I'll give you Jim Brown but other than that,they've never made it to the Super Bowl as opposed to the Bills,who's given the NFL some of the greatest and at times the most heart ripping moments in NFL history and the Buffalo Bills fans are some of the most diehard fans in the league and we support them,even when they suck!!!

Again,if they were to leave,how soon can we get a new team?

BECAUSE THE BUFFALO (INSERT NEW TEAM) FAN DESERVES IT!!!

If the Bills get moved, they'll change the team name too (see Baltimore Ravens/Tennessee Titans)

The only reason the Bills might move is because of RW's poor planning. If the Bills do leave, don't plan on getting another team until the ice caps fully melt and Buffalo is now on the atlantic waterfront.

It's not a question of what to name the team, but of what to rename the city. If the Bills leave, Buffalo might as well change its name to Toledo (or Akron or Lansing, etc. if you prefer--it won't matter)....


Keeping the Bills in WNY has to be a priority for NY State, Erie County, the City of Buffalo and the business community of the entire region. The Bills give the area a degree of national recognition and presence--free PR if you will--that it cannot get from any other source at that price. If there is ever to be a serious economic revival of the region, it will require the kind of name recognition and major league attraction that an NFL franchise helps to provide. Given the present demographics and state of the economy in WNY, it is highly doubtful that anyone would place a major league football or baseball franchise in WNY that would replace the Bills so it is essential to act now to insure that the team remains in WNY.

(If you doubt the economic importance of a NFL franchise, ask the businessmen and politicians of San Antonio what they would be willing to do financially to get a NFL team. The NBA and NHL are "small potatoes" compared to the economic cachet of the NFL or MLB.)
