Wrong.
1. Franchised Nate.
You mean paid a player who SUCKED ASS last year $5.8 million? Yeah, great move
2. Traded an unhappy, on the downside of his career over paid WR who wanted out and would have been a disruption to the team.
You mean a receiver who many people thought was "elite" and he only got a 5th round draft pick for him? Less than what they got for Keenan McCardell a while back? Another winner
3. Signed Triplett.
This was a good move, however incomplete. We still only have one player who can start at DT
4. Re-signed the improving Ryan Denney.
You've got to be kidding me. They gave ridiculous money to a guy that lost his starting job to Chris Kelsay.
5. Has not overpaid for overrated players like Archuletta.
Which may not be as good as it seems- this team still has a lot of holes, and overrated players are still better than some of TD's garbage that's still on this team.
6. Has not signed overpriced players over the age of 30 that contribute less than they cost.
I'll give you that one
7. Hired a head coach with coaching experience. (Note: Sherman was my fisrt choice, but Jauron was #2).
A HC with a LOSING record. Talk to a Bears fan about Jauron.
8. Made a solid attempt to sign Wells.
You're giving credit for something he ALMOST did? please.
9. Signed Fowler, an upgrade to Turnstyle Teague or Bennie Anderson.
Again, same as Tripplett- good move but we still have garbage on our OL. It's incomplete.
10. Released a headcase in Sam Adams who seems to wear out his welcome after 2-3 years with every team he plays for.
I half agree with this one. Adams had to go, but we should have learned a lesson about letting DT's go and replacing them with NO ONE after last year.
11. Signed Royal, who will help with this team's blocking problems.
I'll give you this one too.
So, out of the 11 Dr. Lecter mentioned, 2 good, 2 incomplete and 7 bad. Way to go Marv!
