    This quote is interesting...

"I still think he has playing ability, but I don't think we can fill our other needs with the type of salary cap hit we have to take with him," said Levy prior to the trade.

    Does marv have something planned?

When in the 3rd or 4th rounds after we address the lines? I don't think he will be there then.

8th overall. Any OL other than D'Brick is a reach.

I'm sick of the word "reach." Draft who you need, regardless of where you are. If you can trade down, good, but if not, take him anyway.

if you are implying to my post.... when there's a player like Vernon available when we pick at 8th and we pass on him to grab someone like Justice that's a stretch. OL can be had at the 2nd rd.

It is never a stretch to take one of the top guys at his position coming out that is also a need. Esp when you can't get him in the 2nd round.

Trade down a couple spots fine, if you can't you take him. How is it a reach to take a LT that will most likely anchor your line for the next 10 years? it isn't.

Bills had to sign him to the contract first before trading him. They should have signed him and told him that they like this contract better than the pick and kept him.

I was thinking the same thing, but then they would have had to get rid of JP.
