I've been lurking here the last couple of days...and it has been pretty depressing. I think football talk is much more entertaining than talk of gloom and doom and the Bills moving. Debating about multi-millionaire owners is futile, they will do whatever they please. I rather discuss millionaire players.
Anyways, has anyone seen Fred Jackson playing in NFL Europe? He looks to have decent speed, good size (6' !" 210 lbs.) and great hands. If his blocking skills are any good, I wouldn't mind seeing him as possibly the Bills third down back and the third string RB. Shaud Williams is OK, but I would like the Bills to take a look at Jackson in training camp. Plus with his size, Jackson may be used on special teams as well.
I think the Bills need to address the backup RB situation on the first day of the draft. With the Bills' question marks at QB, I think the running game will be very important in 2006. If there isn't a OL or DL in the third round available whom can step right in and start from Day 1, I wouldn't mind the Bills taking a look at Joseph Addai, Maurice Drew, Gerald Riggs, or Humes from VT.
