His size and unfulfilled expectations conjure images of Mike Williams. But in 6-foot-6, 375-pound Aaron Gibson, the Buffalo Bills are hoping this former first-round draft pick still has enough talent to match his considerable girth. Out of football a year ago, Gibson is being given a chance to resuscitate a once promising career with the Bills, who signed him earlier this week. Detroit drafted Gibson in the first round (27th overall) in 1999 and made him a starter as a rookie. Perhaps his best season was 2003 when he started 16 games for Chicago when Bills coach Dick Jauron was the Bears' head man.
