    Q&A w/Jauron about minicamp.

There's an interesting blurb from the writer at the bottom:
    Quick Training Camp Notes:
When Lee Evans and Andre Davis line up as the two wide-outs, I don't know of any cornerbacks in the NFL that could keep up step-for-step with them.
I like the sound of that.

        From an old draft site-

        ANDRE DAVIS, VIRGINIA TECH

        Height: 6-1
        Weight: 194
        Birthdate: June 12, 1979
        ANALYSIS
A master of the big play, Davis averaged 19.4 yards per catch over his last three seasons with the Hokies. Rebounded from an injury-riddled 2000 season, to catch 39 passes for 623 yards and seven touchdowns last year, even though QB Michael Vick had moved on to the NFL. Over his last two seasons in Blacksburg, Davis wasn't merely an outstanding receiver, but a terrific punt returner, averaging 15.7 yards per return and scoring four touchdowns. Also ran for Tech's track team during his time there, and has been clocked at 4.29 seconds for the 40-yard dash.

          Davis is fast, SCARY fast.

Showed flashes as a Brown, but never stayed healthy.
Jeff Garcia threw him a pass that tied for longest in NFL history 2 seasons ago, 99 yard TD where he flat out flew past the DB.

He has all sorts of talent but can't seem to stay on the field, maybe things change for him now. Problem is, if he has weak-armed Holcomb throwing the ball, most of his speed doesn't matter. With the speed at wide, it leads me to believe that KH has ZERO chance of starting.

I'm getting a little excited about these recievers I wont lie. I still think we need a Moulds type with good size, but you can't argue with the speed we put on the field. JP and Evans had good chemistry last year if you ask me, and he also threw to Josh Reed a good amount so it might not be too bad.

If Davis could stay healthy this year, they could be the next up-and-coming WR tandem like Arizona's Boldin and Fitzgerald. And with a good running from Willis, JP could really flourish.

Let's take this team to the playoffs. That would help our future in staying in Buffalo.
