Based on the stuff I've read (by the way, once again, the D&C does a way better job than the snooze..) Ralph is worried about:
1. Ralph is on the edge of not getting revenue sharing. Even though the Bills have the lowest ticket prices, they sell among the most tickets, and their overall revenue is closer to the middle of the pack than it is the bottom. If they count the tax break money he gets from the county and state, it will push him out of the sharing. Therefore, he doesn't want that to count.
2. Since Ralph is so close to the edge, he will not sell naming rights because it might generate enough money to push him out of the revenue sharing.
3. The other owners seem to be pushing for some provision that if a team changes hands it will not get revenue sharing. Well, Ralphie boy is 87. This may force him to turn over control to his daughters before he wants to.
Ralph has enough money for the cap, but he doesn't have enough to pay huge signing bonuses to the star palyers. Only the "rich" teams will be able to afford that, and football will evolve into baseball.
