I dont' know what to make of this league right now. It says you can have as many as you want in a league and it's free. But it also says it costs $9.95 and our league is already full. I'm so confused.

maybe the money thing is just a segregated group of participants who are eligible for more prizes. I still can't figure it out.

The $9.95 league is the Fantasy Cup Challange. We're in the other one, and that one is free.

It sounds fun. Draft your own drivers and everything. Should be a good time.

Thanks. I think we'll have a pool every week along with this we'll throw some zonebucks in there to make it interesting. We'll use the last number of the winning car and the last place car or something to determine the winners. Maybe we can do another pool based on the lineup too.

Now we've got to get at least 15 people in there. I don't care how many play really but I would hate to see someone in our league do well enough to win a NASCAR prize but be disqualified because there weren't enough in our league. I'll get on it.

OK, obviously this is just another indication I am an idiot ;). Either that or the NASCAR site is very misleading. But I read the rules for the wrong league type when I set this up. This league there are only allowed six participants so there are no more spots available. However, we can start another league if there are others interested (I know you are interested Dazy so lets see if there are some more). I feel really, really bad about this by the way sorry.

Well...to add to the confusion I clicked on open league and now the draft started. If you are in the league go to the site and participate in the auction it ends in 24hrs. If you don't get to participate it will just give you the best available drivers you can afford so it shouldn't be too big of a disaster I guess. If anyone objects because the draft time was not announced (I don't blame you at all I screwed up again) we can just cancel the league and start a new one I guess. In the future I'm going to have to leave running the contests to the pro's I can't help but screw them up.

You should probably wait til after qualifying...but it is easy enought to figure out how to choose your team. You can only use a driver for nine weeks in a row...then you have to reserve him.

yeah well I already screwed that up I guess. I didn't know the roster moves were limited. I can't figure out what the limitations are on add/drops. I didn't know about the nine week thing that just means we have to bench him once after nine straight weeks right? Damn I am a real idiot.

Edit your team, select your drivers, and then choose which you want active and which to reserve. You may want to wait til after they qualify for the 500 though.

I can't believe 6 drivers is the limit. It'd make it more exciting with more people. Then again not many people on here like racing :D

We could always compete between more leagues if we had enough interest to fill them up.

I'd also like to bet some ZB's if the rest of you are interested. Maybe an end of the year bet, and then weekly bets for the highest scorer? We all have plenty of ZB's to wager with. Or even like the higest scorer each 1/4 or 1/2 the year, and then for the end of it. The racing season is like 35 weeks. We need something to keep us interested the entire season and every week.

As far as the zonebucks go we could all agree to pay the high scorer a certain amount every week. The high scorer would be responsible to make sure he got paid (shelby is never going to win). If someone doesn't pay we'll just give Fat Tony a call.

We could always get a trustworthy person to hold the money. We could pay 4 weeks in advance so you don't have to worry about sending it in every week. You pay and you're set for 4 races.
