<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/9">ESPN.com's John Clayton (http://www.kffl.com/link/125) reports the New England Patriots (http://www.kffl.com/team/24/nfl) were willing to give WR Peerless Price (http://www.kffl.com/player/225/nfl) a one-year deal, but agent Tim McGee convinced the Buffalo Bills (http://www.kffl.com/team/9/nfl) the value of Price's return and he landed a four-year contract from them.

4 years and a chance to start.
1 year and be lucky to make the team.

$10 million for four years can make a player on that level like Buffalo a lot more.

Or maybe Evans will take Moulds place as #1 receiver and Price can be a solid #2 receiver again.

Wait until you see the contract for Price will never see the money unless he shows he can play. His agent reommended Buffalo because the contract looks better for the agent even if they are same amount first year.

I agree, this contract won't look as crazy as it sounds. I am sure it has a lot of incentives and I bet it is close to veteren minimum the first year. He couldn't have gotten anymore then a mil or so signing bonus. Any more then that and I will be shocked.

The funny thing is everyone would be laughing at NE if they signed him. If teams don't have to give up much in terms of guranteed money I have no problem taking a flyer on him. If he sucks he will be cut.
