Royal, Price, contracts that are somewhat laughtable i would have been happy if wee overpaid for pickett, and we would have alot more flexibility for the draft. Just a thought.

Before I get all knee jerk- I'd like to see the year- to year breakdown. If they are all backloaded, then maybe they aren't bad.

I read this and again have to ask...what part of he didn't want to sign here are fans not getting? He didnt' want to be here. We were like his 3rd option.

I agree he didn't want to be here, but man that would have been nice and we wouldn't even have to worry about a DT in the first round this year and we could really look at Vernon Davis or Huff or whoever......That said I still hope we take Davis and take a DT with one of our third rounders because I really want a guard in the second.

just like Bentley, runyon etc. I tire of the debate over un-signed FAs. they're gone, we don't have any evidence that it was because "Ralph and Marv are too cheap," get over it.

It is NEVER a good idea to overpay. Sometimes you need to due to market forces or temporary shortages but in that case it is the best idea of a set of bad ones. And until we see more details on the contracts, we do not know if we overpaid or underpaid for the players.

Now I don't know but common sense says that was his agent on the phone saying get your arse to Green Bay to sign the deal.

Why Pickett he had one year and was almost cut the year before that for underachieveing St. Louis considered him a bust until last year i am glad we didnt over pay him we will be better off with the draft especially if we take Ngata or Bunkley i see the point though would be nice to take best player not best need player

I am fine with it. Royal and Price are impact guys. I think Marv underpaid. Pickett is worthless.

Pretty much minus the signing bonus which is pro rated. But even if we keep all of them because they work out, its a bargain.

Have you been to green bay, i could see if he chose Miami, or NYC, or something but i have to believe if we offered the most money he would have came here.

The whole point of this thread is we are taking a shot with Price, and Royal, two guys that contracts don't justify their recent production by any means. Granted it could be a homerun, but i would have loved us to throw money at a impact player like pickett to get him here. It would make the offseason so much better, and the draft would be more based on the Best available player then a need player. the fact is price is being paid 2.8 mil or something like that, just keep moulds if your pay money to reed and Price that type of money. I just feel our money should have been put to other uses thats all.

Oh... my... god....

I don't stand alone?! :wtf:

Be careful Camel, prepare for the negs to come your way.

God forbid we pay close to the same price for Price, Reed, and Davis when we could have kept Moulds and gotten more out of him.

Neg me if they want, I don't lose sleep over that stuff. the whole point is, Moulds would be a bill if they didn't ask him to take a paycut. I think it was a good move, but They should have just let Parrish, and Davis develop or draft a young receiver. Why bring in two receivers who have underachieved pay them both around 10 mil over 4 years. Im still pissed Josh Reed is even on this team a receiver should be able to catch. Who else would have signed him?, Same with Peerless, New England was going to give him a one year contract, he didn't have teams knocking down his doors. I just feel marv is being stingy with guys who can play, and being a little too generous with guys who haven't shown they can.

We are the minority.

People won't realize it until the team starts tanking right out of the gates.

You can't field a team with a worse line than last seasons, nothing but speed recievers, 1 average DT, and no proven QB.

If this was the Lions or Cardinals, Bills fans would be laughing something fierce given the current state of the team. But because it's the Bills, people are blind to reality.

No QB, no line, a bad team. We need a hell of a draft. But if you look back, since Jimbo and the Glory days we have done nothing with the Oline, and The QB postion. I don't see things changing anytime soon. Next year we'll drafting a qb in the top ten, barring a amazing draft/coaching Job.
