Does anyone think that since Arrington is still out there that we could have any chance at landing him? We have some cash to spend. He would defintely be an upgrade to Posey...Thoughts??

He do have enough money but he is constantly hurt and has serious character issues, he was accussed of not playing hurt or that he should be playing with his injury when he sat out, There is a definte reason why he is still out there along with Charles Woodson very me type players

Teams IMHO are leery of this guy. He sued his agent and the Skins over a portion of a bonus. Greg Williams benched his arse last year because he wasn't performing as well as the other guys in the team. To me he feels he is entitled to something being a first rounder.

Pass.

With all things considered, Arrington is NOT an upgrade from Posey.

Care to explain why you think this?

Yeah, Mr Miyagi....

How is Arrington not an upgrade from Posey? Heck our second string guy might be an upgrade from Posey......he is just not a special player.

So while there may be some negatives as far as Arrington is concerned, I don't think it outweighs him being a premier LB.

Arrington next to Spikes would be the NASTIEST LB tandem in the league.

he would bing a lot to our team, but do we need to spend the money on him, that im not so sure of. Posey shouldnt start. In our new system we can use a smaller Lb to take over the strong side, maybe the someone that took over for takeo last year. how does that sounds

First off Arrington wants a lot of money, money that we don't want to spend.

Secondly, he is an arrogant uncoachable SOB. He takes a lot of risks and doesn't do what he's supposed to in a scheme (heard this on NFL Radio).

Thirdly, also according to insiders, he was only used last year on first and second downs. He is not an every down player.

Perhaps his skill level is superior to Posey, with his character issue included, I'd rather have Posey.

three words:

char

act

tar

put them together and they spell something close to character

which is more than i can say about arrington

not a man that walks with the marv

wasn't directing it at just you...but at anyone saying he could be an upgrade to Posey if he's never played there before.
