Personally, I don't know what Teague's numbers were: with a center it can be hard to tell because the credit for the sack may go to the OG instead. But, what I can tell you (and you can go back and read my preview articles on the Bills last season in the archives on the BZ frontpage if you like) is that Teague has a very hard time with bigger quicker DTs. Booger McFarland, Rod Coleman and Vince Wilfork ate him alive last season! And, every season before that.

Teague isn't a total waste. He is good at making the line calls and he does do some things well, especially when not matched up against the kinds of DTs that I mentioned. But, with a lot of teams favoring that kind of DT, there are going to be some games when you will be screaming your head off at Teague. Teague doesn't really make the guys on either side of him a lot better, but he can make them seem worse when they have to come to help him out.
