Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild expects the offense to be much more aggressive. Fairchild worked under Mike Martz in St. Louis. While he doesn't expect to duplicate what they accomplished there, he did say the offense would pass more often. The coaching staff has been utilizing deeper drops for the quarterbacks, giving receivers more time to run their routes.




Now, I remember commenting in the falcons game that the WR, were never getting out of their routes fast enough. Now, Steve Fairchild is commenting that the QB's are gonna take deeper drops. I remember a few years back that we had 5 and 7 step drops and our Qb's got sacked alot.

If its works, we wont need that much o-line help afterall.



Its always a good thing, but may not be as necessary.

Uhhh...if receivers need more time to run their routes, the QB is going to need more time also. We need help on the o-line.

We need a little bit of everything, its pretty simple..

If your not a halfback, cornerback, wide receiver or linebacker and your in the draft, we need you.

I wouldn't be so sure about CB. If Nate doesnt sign a long term deal it would be smart of the Bills to draft a CB.

Yep, but not this year.. at least not on day one.

Never know. Drafting one this year would be smarter then drafting one next year and starting him.

At this point Im truly starting to not care who we take, whomever it is , is going to be a help at the position. There's not a single player in the top half of the first round that I absolutely hate and see "bust" written all over, although there will be a few I'm sure.. Likely whomever the Lions pick.

NO! Bad OC! NO!

Pass-happy offenses are destined for failure in Buffalo, and all of our QB's either lack experience or lack talent. I don't like this at all.

Of course, I would add tight end to this list, since we have a monster blocker in Royal, a nice pass catcher in Euhus, and a fast, athletic guy in Everett, who we drafted in the 3rd round last year.

I actually think WR and LB are positions of greater need, although they can probably be addressed in later rounds.
