    SF still may take Huff! Davis could be ours at 8!

    This is only news worthy because many of us felt signing Sammy Davis was posturing for drafting Vernon Davis rather than a DB at 6.

    But,

    49ers | Cornerback a draft possibility

    Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the San Francisco 49ers may use a high pick on a cornerback in the 2006 NFL Draft despite the acquisition of CB Sammy Davis.



    Add in Oakland having a shot at a top QB and Davis could still be sitting there at 8.



    Bmax needs to bring the towels, cause if Davis is at 8, were taking him and many OL, DL obssessed fans will be crying.

    Agreed. Mike Rumph failed at FS, so they might draft Huff to play FS or Corner. Rumph is shifting back to corner. Ahmed Plummer gets hurt and Shawntee Spencer was almost the only bright spot for them at corner last year.


    Oakland could draft Cutler, Young or Greenway.

        oakland already said back in 92 never again will we pick a qb that high so that is a no we wont take a qb its winston, huff, vernon

          OK, you didnt watch any bills games last year, or you dont know anything about football, eaither way, go sit in the corner. Unless brick or super mario are there. Ngata is the pick.

            April 29th will show who knows what.

            If your so positive that Ngata is the pick, Im gonna have a field day on the 29th.

            I said, that Davis COULD drop to us. And yes, I THINK we will pick him.

            But only a fool would proclaim who the pick is. If you notice, my comment on us taking him is all based on the notion that he is still there. He might not be. Either way, its nothing more than BS as to who we are taking, No one knows. Except you of course, and we will have some fun with ya on April 29th.

                -----------------Again, Oak doesnt even need a TEat all. And again, Oak needs OLB and S. Huff or Hawk would be better picks for them.



                This leaves Davis for us based on need.
