Is it possible that Mario Williams and D'Brickshaw Ferguson go #1 & 2 (regardless the order and team) and the Titans go with Leinhart at #3 thus leaving Bush to the Jets at #4 or even Green Bay at #5?

Thoughts?

No. Reggie Bush will be the first overall pick. And if he somehow in a blue moon wasn't, he will be the second.

I doubt it. I really can't see the Texans passing on this guy.

I guess it will depend on how much money Bush will want and if the Texans will want to invest in the desired contract that will impact his #1 pick overall selection IMO.

LOL, he will have the contract to end all contracts no matter when he's picked.

See I don't get the texans. They HAVE a running back. they have a QB and two WR's now. BUILD UP THE LINE!

I would take d'brick if I were them.

I think a dazed Carr would agree with you.

It's all about ticket sales and team revenue...Reggie Bush will be their marquee player and poster boy.

He will be to Houston what Ronnie Mexico is to the Falcons.

The fact that we haven't heard any news concerning numbers for Bush, like the Texans did with Carr, makes me think that they aren't just reeady to snag him. I think the Texans would consider a trade and will probably entertain anything and everything.

If for some reason no one offers the Texans a comparable trade, then they just very well might grab a defensive prospect like Mario or some protection such as Brick.

Don't rule that out.

I think if they could find a willing partner to trade down w/ and still be in a high enough position to draft Ferguson, the Texans would do it. I expect them to take every second of the allotted 15 minutes to make that pick.

And that would be the smart thing to do. Look I know Bush = some marketing, but the FACTS are....WINNING is the best marketing tool any franchise can have. With Kubiak putting in his system down there, take Dbrick and solidify that line. They do that and see how fast the Texans start contending.
