Bills | Team conducting pre-draft visit with H. Ngata
    Mon, 17 Apr 2006 17:47:41 -0700

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Buffalo Bills will conduct a pre-draft visit with Oregon DT Haloti Ngata Tuesday, April 18.

Not the player I want the Bills to take at that spot, but we will see.

Why? I have no problem with either. The kid had a hell of a combine in addition to a good year.

Yeah id take either, personally I believe Ngata to be the better of the two when you compare all aspects of each (not just skill/athleticism but other "intangibles")

That being said id be happy with either.

I'd go with that too, we already have our runstopper in Triplett, now we need the pass rusher, and that is Bunkley.

I will be honest I would rather have NGATA, I never really liked players that come out of the 3 big Florida schools......Bunkley also has some drama behind him I think NGATA is a Bills prototype....

Being a fan of the Canes, I always find it somewhat harder to like a Bills player from UF or FSU but I always say I won't like them that much right up until the time I hear there name called, then I fall in line like the rest of us. No reason to fault him for making a bad decision 4 years earlier. With that said, I think Bunkley is the better fit as nearly everyone has pointed out, when it comes to our new D.

                    Trips is the pass rusher.
Bunkley or Ngata would be the run stopper.

If triplett's the pass rusher, where the hell are his sacks at?

Go read some of the articles on trips and how the bills staff saw as when they signed him.

I've been a little wary of Bunkley too, for character reasons. But there's a pretty good article on Sportsline today:

I feel a little better about the dude after reading that.

Either way, I don't think either Bunkley or Ngata would be a bad pick. Would feel a little better about both though if we had the, say, 12th pick. If Mario, Brick, Hawk, or Davis are still on the board, I'd take one of those guys.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

Ngata is the greatest DT prospect to come along since Bob Lilly. We must draft him, or we'll never win the Super Bowl.
